An enjoyable couple of hours here, meeting new people, making new friends. The hall was a good size for the gathering and the facilities were clean. Staff were very friendly.
I went with my grandchildren & daughter to the Halloween playgroup. We had to be prebook at a very reasonable price of £2.50 per child for unlimited time from 10 until 2. They had a nice range of colouring, glueing and cutting activities all Halloween themed set up, plus a nice big space with toys of all descriptions from a climbing cube with slide to ride on toys and kitchens etc. We bought lunch at the lovely cafe in there, the selection for the children's lunch bag was huge and well worth the money. The staff and volunteers were brilliant, nothing was to much trouble and everyone had a smile. The other parents were friendly and welcoming. All in all a wonderful few hours My understanding is they run a playgroup a few times a week for young families, definitely worth a visit.
