Edit: Happy to discuss this in a calm, respectful way, maybe this this time you won't be edgy and rude as the last time we spoke. You may not remember but your attiude was so shockinkly unprofessional I still remember it clearly after 10 months. The amount of time passed is irrelevant as when a service is so apallingly poor, a review has to be left to warn others not to fall in the same trap. Your company has a fair number of very bad reviews and many accuse you of keeping money unfairly (this is essentially stealing). Maybe you should put more work into addressing the issues your company has and not only leaving empty words in response to honest reviews. And just to reiterate the information in your website is MISLEADING. I want to stress on this fact so potential clients are aware of this. Original message: We had the most horrific experience with this company. We hired two assets, one of them being the Party time 10ft giant slide. Advertised as 10ft however the real height of the asset (19 ft) is not mentioned at all under the measurements section of the description called ‘Perfect measurements’. We checked the measurements of the Hall we hired for our 4-year-old daughter's birthday party. We even took measuring tools to make sure we had it very well checked before the big day. The day of the party, we learned that the slide was 19 ft in reality and not 10 ft tall as advertised, I quote from their website ‘The slide itself reaches a height of 10ft, ensuring a thrilling…’ so they packed it and left, leaving my daughter in tears on what it should have been a most special day. The worst of it all was the way this was handled by the staff and specially by Richard who was extremely rude and straight up defensive blaming us, the parents, for not checking measurements properly. That attitude threw me off completely and since I have been warning my friends in the area about this company. Regardless of who’s fault it was, the customer service is appalling. All you get is rudeness and blame. Not even a single opportunity for an open and respectful conversation. They kept all the money (£270), treated me horribly and left my daughter in tears. All of this even though the true height (19 ft) was not mentioned at all under the measurements part of the description. And because it was mentioned elsewhere in the description, they put all the blame on us. That is poor writing skills that is. It is misleading that the true height IS NOT mentioned under measurements. The number of people that have made this mistake is irrelevant as even if we were the ONLY ones to make it, their website IS misleading and the way they deal with these matters is extremely rude, I can’t stress enough how awful it was. Please avoid dealing with The Bounce Department at all costs !!! There are so many lovely options in the Oxfordshire area, 1-2-3 Bounce, Time2Bounce, all lovely, helpful and respectful towards clients.

Really helpful, especially as we had to cancel the bouncy castle due to high winds. We were able to swap to a range of carnival games instead which were very popular (especially the hole in one golf!). Delivery and pick up was on time and very easy. I’d highly recommend for any kind of event! Thank you for all your help and advice on the day!

Absolutely amazing company! All the items i ordered made the whole party! I went with the gruffalo package, and unfortunately was unable to have the castle because it wouldn’t fit in my venue (self inflicted) i was offered something to swap for the same value of money and chose the candy floss machine! Was great super easy to use and the kids absolutely loved it! Set up and packing away was super quick and easy. The staff that came to do it all were really helpful and kind! Will definitely be using this company again! Highly recommend

We’ve just used these guys for the second time and have been so impressed with their communication, service and products! Will 100% use them again. We’ve hired the Minecraft bouncy castle with slide, they arrived exactly as arranged with no bother (people often can’t find our house), set up quickly and easily (both times such lovely guys!), the kids LOVED their bouncy castle, arrived as arranged on time to collect and again so quick. My only minus is the £45 delivery fee.

Another fantastic experience with hiring from The Bounce Dept for our annual Christmas party. Friendly, prompt, good at communication and they provided just what we needed! No complaints here. We had strict hall hire timings for our party and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up and packed away quickly. In fact they arrived half an hour early!
